Watson Chapel Junior High held their Black History Program on Thursday, February 27th. The director of the production was Ms. Shaumia Henderson, music and vocal ensemble teacher. She was assisted by WCJH staff and teachers. We were honored to have special guests Coach Oliver Elders and Dr. Joycelyn Elders— the first African American Surgeon General of the United States. Many students showcased their talents during the program, which consisted of singing, music, dance, monologues and words of inspiration from Coach & Dr. Elders.
