This proactive decision is being made to ensure the safety of our students and staff while allowing sufficient time for transportation before weather conditions potentially worsen. District buses will operate on their regular routes at the adjusted dismissal times.

The 1st Annual WCJHS Schoolwide Spelling Bee took place Friday, Jan. 9th. Champions and runner-ups from each classroom's class level spelling bee were invited to participate. 20 students competed for a chance to compete at the Regional Spelling Bee in February.
Overall Champion: Caelyn Rose (Seventh Grade)
Runner-Up: La'Kyah Buckner (Eighth Grade)
Sixth Grade Top Speller: Nobia Cliff

We are proud to announce that our students have officially completed their scheduled semester testing for the week!
Please review the following information regarding the schedule for Thursday and Friday:
Make-Up Testing Only: Thursday and Friday are designated strictly for make-up semester tests.
Exemption Policy: If your student has completed all of their semester tests, they are exempt from attending school on these two days.
Who Should Attend: Only students who missed a test earlier this week and need to complete a make-up exam should report to campus.
We want to congratulate our students on their hard work during this testing window and wish everyone a safe and relaxing winter break.
